Every space should have an "entry statement". A thought out collection of items that define you and your home. A grouping of your favorite things, items that speak about you, your likes and what inspires you.
After all, it is the first and last impression.
My collection rests on a beautiful custom console table made of metal and cerused oak. It's a piece I designed based on the number 4, my lucky number. The art is one I've carried with me from space to space. The bronze running man is a thrift store find/a testament to my love of thrifting. The glass bowls were originally intended to serve ice out of/I love to entertain!
The shell collection was sold to me by the original owner. An expert world traveler who was quick to share his stories. Each shell labled the different places he and his wife had been.
Reminders of the places I've yet to see.
This is my statement, me telling you a bit about myself and saying WELCOME.
